VPB in the acquisition of Getsound

Itsright Società Benefit , has acquired the business unit of Getsound.
Itsright is a collecting society founded in 2010. Its focus is the collection management and distribution of related rights royalties owed to artists and record producers for the public broadcast of recorded music, such as radio, television, public establishments, and music service providers.
Getsound, is also a collecting society which manages the rights of its member record producers.
The transaction was conducted for Itsright by Marco Bisceglia, partner and founder of VPB Studio Legale Associato, here quoted:

Getsound was assisted by Lorenzo Assanti; Mario Daniele and Mauro Leone were in charge of tax and accountant side.
This acquisition gave Itsright the opportunity to consolidate its position in rights brokerage and to enhances technological assets, digitised processes and advanced data flow and rights management systems, developed through significant IT investments made by the company itself in recent years.
The transaction involved the addition to Itsright of an extensive catalogue of over 500,000 music recordings, which promote the independent production of more than 450 record companies.
This acquisition also represents the natural evolution of a collaboration that began in 2025 between Getsound and Itsright and has been progressively strengthened by concrete results, a focus on independent repertoire and growing strategic alignment.
The deal has been reported by legal, financial and music press in Italy and abroad.
