VPB law firm and BIPART<\/span><\/a> law firm are hosting Agostino Osio\u2019s photographic project \u201cEMPTY SPACES\u201d \u201cHERO\u201d in Milan at their refurbished premises at Via Lanzone no. 4.<\/p>\n

The photographic project \u201cEMPTY SPACES\u201d \u201cHERO\u201d by Agostino Osio <\/b><\/span>is a visual research work that explores the relationship between fashion, architecture and time through images that capture the absence and memory of spaces.<\/p>\n

The initiative is part of the two firms\u2019 desire to promote dialogue between law, creativity and the visual arts<\/b>, transforming workspaces into meeting places for professions, culture and artistic research.<\/p>\n

The \u201cEMPTY SPACE\u201d project was born in 2007 from an intuition by Agostino Osio<\/b>, an artist who trained within the context of Italian contemporary art. In addition to the friends of April\u2122 – Studio, Prada was the first brand to recognise its value, not only in aesthetic and documentary terms, but also in cultural terms. Since then, Osio has collaborated with many other brands, paving the way for what today represents a significant expression of the dilation of time linked to fashion shows: architecture and fashion have thus entered into a fruitful dialogue, highlighting a moment of rare and happy cross-pollination between different disciplines, of which Osio feels himself a privileged observer.<\/p>\n

The project, which the author has been carrying on for almost twenty years and to which he is deeply attached, is an exploration of space to which photography restores a new dimension and temporality.<\/p>\n

In a world dominated by speed and the ephemeral, where even catwalks are fleeting moments that are consumed in the space of a few minutes, the images of empty spaces<\/i>, i.e. apparently empty spaces, retain the atmosphere, the setting and the details, becoming testimony to a stylistic and cultural era.<\/p>\n

\u00ab<\/span>Agostino Osio\u2019s project \u201cEMPTY SPACES\u201d \u201cHERO\u201d represents for us an opportunity to enhance our spaces also as a place of encounter with art and culture. We believe that a work environment can benefit from proximity to artistic research, and for this reason we intend to continue on this path, offering visibility to <\/i>quality<\/i> artists<\/i>\u00bb comments Edoardo Vassallo<\/i>, one of the founding partners of VPB law firm.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abWe are delighted to host in our studio the<\/i> photographic project <\/i>\u201cEMPTY SPACE<\/i><\/b>\u201d \u201cHERO<\/i><\/b>\u201d <\/span>by <\/i>Agostino Osio<\/i><\/b><\/span>, a photographer and artist who is able to recount with great sensitivity the projects conceived to set the stage for fashion shows, transforming spaces destined to exist for only a few moments into images that preserve their memory. Since the firm\u2019s inception, we have sought to promote art-related initiatives, in the belief that the cultural enhancement of creativity must go hand in hand with its legal protection. This occasion represents a further piece in this journey. From this perspective, Agostino Osio\u2019s photographs become not only an artistic document, but also testimony to complex creative processes \u2013 in which architecture, set design, light and fashion meet \u2013 that the law is increasingly called upon to understand and protect and that the firm is proud to support in their enhancement, staying true to what our very name implies: being part of, and on the side of, the <\/i>enhancement of creativity\u00bb comment Gilberto Cavagna di Gualdana<\/b><\/span><\/a> and Maria Giulia Contatore<\/b><\/span><\/a>, respectively founder and senior associate of BIPART, experts in intellectual property and art law.<\/span><\/p>\n
